We are looking for ambitious Ph.D. graduates (m/f) specialized in Chemistry to start at BASF Coatings GmbH, Muenster in our Coatings Inside Trainee Program.
Trainee Program for Ph.D. Chemists (m/f)
What you can expect:
For a duration of 18 up to 24 months you will have the opportunity to prove your abilities and gain experience within different company operations (i.e. Applied Research and Customer Account Management) and in challenging projects. This offers you the chance to become familiar with the variety of company operations before deciding on your target position. Temporary placement in a foreign country or corporate unit is an optional element in the program.
What we expect:
We are looking for self-starting, committed candidates who will enjoy working with business and technology interfaces and continually develop the company through their commitment. You have the University degree (PhD) with achievements above average in Chemistry, Polymer Chemistry or Physical Chemistry. You have broad experience in the field of Polymer Physics, Material Sciences, Polymer Synthesis or Polymer Characterization and you can show impressive educational achievements to date as well as relevant industrial placements. You have excellent communication skills, good negotiating skills in English and an additional foreign language is desirable. Beyond these abilities, at least intermediate German is important. You are characterized by a confident manner, a high level of social acumen and intercultural orientation. Flexibility and the ability to work well in teams make your application perfect.
