phd Postdoc position in speech Audiology
A postdoc position in speech audiology is available at the Centre of Hearing research in the University of Oldenburg, Germany. The postdoc position in speech audiology is also suited for part-time work.

The successful Postdoc candidate should be a promising young researcher with international publications and practical experience in one of the following areas:
  • Speech signal processing and acoustics of speech
  • Experiments and models of speech perception in normal and hearing-impaired subjects
  • Algorithmic simulation and improvement of human audio and speech perception
Candidates for the postdoc position in speech audiology should have acquired an excellent Ph.D. degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering or other related subjects. An extension and a possible option for a tenure track position depend on the success of the cluster of excellence application “Hearing4all”.

The successful candidate will work within the framework of the Network for Multilingual Hearing and Speech perception diagnostics (EFRE-funded project HurDig).

She or he is expected to contribute to the structured research programmes within the Centre for Hearing Research, i. e., the collaborative research centre “The Active Auditory System” (SFB/TRR31), the national centre of competence for hearing technology “HörTech” and the PhD program “Function and Pathophysiology of the Auditory System”. In case of a success in the ongoing grant application procedures, the successful candidate should actively contribute to the envisaged Forschergruppe “Individualisierte Hörakustik” and the envisaged cluster of excellence “Hearing4all”.
